Remote sensing instruments, lower atmosphere profilering radars and radio acoustic sounder systems, will be installed at select MesoNet sites to observe the winds and temperatures aloft in the lower atmosphere
Wind speed & direction from 100 to 5000 meters
Virtual air temperature from 100 to 1500 meters
Other - Sensors can be added to sites across areas/regions that require special/unique measurements/data
