Rebecca Miller is the NBC 5 Weather Team Meteorologist appearing on NBC 5 Today, weekday mornings 5AM - 7AM, and NBC 5 DFW Today, weekdays from 10AM - 11AM. You can also catch her weather forecasts during the Today Show between 7AM - 10AM. She joined NBC 5 in 1991.

A graduate from Texas A&M University, Rebecca earned a degree in Meteorology (Atmospheric Physics) and a minor in Mathematics. At graduation, she was honored as "Outstanding Student" by faculty members at Texas A&M.

Prior to NBC 5, Rebecca spent time working as a Meteorologist at WGXA-TV in Macon, Georgia, The Weather Channel in Atlanta and WXIA-TV (NBC) in Atlanta.

She has earned three Emmy nominations for weather documentaries and was voted Outstanding Television Personality in 1995 and 1999 by the American Women in Radio and TV. In 2002, she was chosen as Woman of Distinction by the Fort Worth Altrusa organization, and she was honored with the first ever John LaBella award by the East Lake Pet Orphanage for her wok with animal causes.

Rebecca teaches a class in broadcasting to meteorology seniors at Texas A&M University, but she is also active in several community organizations in the Metroplex. She has done volunteer work for The American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, The Salvation Army, The Alzheimer's Association, and the American Cancer Society. She is also a docent at the Fort Worth Zoo.
