The week of March 18th brought seasonal temperatures and two frontal systems to Texas.  Monday began with a low pressure and frontal system draped across west Texas which triggered very light rain showers.  The frontal system pushed eastward on Tuesday and some areas received ample precipitation as a result. Rainfall totals from the system are as listed: College Station-0.40”, Denton-0.31”, Houston-0.71”, Paris-0.83”, Texarkana-1.35”, and Waco at 0.34”. After the front cleared, temperatures dropped into the 50’s and 60’s as highs.  Thursday brought yet another low pressure and frontal system to Texas, which sparked showers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  By Friday the system had moved out and temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s were reported statewide.
