August 14,
2003
The week of August 4th was pretty eventful storm
report wise throughout the state. On the
4th in the Panhandle many high wind reports were made to the Storm Prediction Center. The 6th brought much of the same
reports to the Eastern region of Texas. On the 8th and 9th
high wind reports were numerous due to showers and thunderstorms in the South Central
region. A plethora of thunderstorms on
the 11th created several reports of high wind, hail and even
tornadoes. The tornado was reported in Medina County, Texas, just west of San Antonio. A cold front that moved through the state on Sunday
(10th) triggered showers and thunderstorms, and resulted in cooler
temperatures and lowered humidity.

after enjoying more comfortable temperatures will warm up into the upper 90’s
