October
2007 was a warm and a very dry month for almost the entire state. A zonal wind
pattern across the
Precipitation
totals were mostly above normal across the entire state.
The first significant cold front of the
season moved through the state in late October bringing an end to the above
average temperatures. Several stations saw low temperatures drop into the 30’s.
Temperatures gradually moderated across the state as October came to a close.
