Monthly Review
March 2008 was near normal temperature wise in Bryan/College Station. The month started out on the mild side
with average temperatures well above normal the first two days of the month. A cold front swept through the
region on the 6th, dropping high temperatures into the 50's and low temperatures into the 30's.  Temperatures
moderated through the middle of the month. The last week of the month saw temperatures well above
normal. For the month, precipitation totaled 3.81 inches which is nearly an inch above normal. A more active
jet stream brought a series of upper level disturbances across Texas, producing several bouts of moderate
to heavy heavy rain in the Brazos Valley. The average monthly temperature of 62.3º F was slightly above normal.
