Monthly Review
A continued La Nina weather pattern across the southeast United States kept the Brazos Valley much warmer
than normal throughout the month of February. The first week of the month was highlighted by several records
either tied or broken. The maximum high temperature for the month occurred on the 25th when the thermometer
topped out at 85º F. A series of cold fronts managed to moderate temperatures for brief periods, but warmer
than normal temperatures prevailed almost the entire month. The average monthly temperature of 57.9º F was
3.4º F above normal. The total monthly precipitation of 3.29" was 0.91"above normal.
