Monthly Review
  This month saw very little precipitation in the Brazos Valley with the monthly total  
standing at 0.17 inches, which is 3.03 inches below the normal.  This puts the yearly total at  
2.25 inches below normal. We hope to see a wetter month of May.    
High temperatures were 1.4 degrees, and lows 2.5 degrees above normal, respectively.  
A record high temperatures was reported on the 24th of the month of April with a   
temperature of 91 degrees Fahrenheit. A very late season cold front passed through the area   
on the 8th, dropping high temperatures almost 20 degrees from the previous day. A 3rd   
lowest minimum temperature of 38 degrees was reported on the 9th, and another near record  
on the 10th with a 2nd lowest minimum temperature of 36 degrees.  An additional front  
on the 21st dropped temperatures on the 22nd, and a 4th lowest maximum temperature  
of 73 degrees was reported. The month of April concluded with high temperatures slightly  
above normal with dry conditions as well.
