Monthly Review
The first half of June was dry in College Station as only .04'' of rain fell from the 1st through the 12th. As such
several days during this period saw maximim temperatures above average with readings climbing into the mid 90's.
However, things began to change during the middle of the month as a series of upper level disturbances moved
across the state. From the 13th through the 17th, 2.41'' of rain fell with more than an inch falling on the 17th.
Temperatures dropped as a result of this precipitation. Maximum temperatures were some ten degrees below normal
on the 16th and 17th. The trend of below average daytime highs and clouds/precipitation continued the rest of the
month. For the month, 5.00'' of rain fell, 1.21'' above average. The average monthly temperature was 81.5 F, which
is 0.1 F below normal.
