FOUS output is available for selected stations from the NGM and NAM.
Fous bulletins are arranged in rows, with time advancing from top to bottom. The most useful columns are the precipitation amount and the wind, followed by temperatures and relative humidities. Of course, you should know it all...
Below is a random old Eta FOUS report (NGM and NAM FOUS reports follow the same format), from Boston, Mass. at 12Z October 30, 1996. Each column is a link: click on a column to obtain information on how to read each column. You are responsible for being able to read winds, temperatures, precipitation, and humidity from a FOUS bulletin, so click through the columns and learn the format.
