When you're done with a browser window, remove it by clicking in the small red circle in the upper left-hand corner of the image window.

Frequently you will need to be able to start up Safari on your own. If the computer has been rebooted recently, you may need to start it up from scratch. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Clicking on the Safari icon (a compass) in the bottom bar on the screen.
2. Click the mouse button on the apple symbol, move down to "Recent Items" and wait for the extra window to appear, then click on "Safari."

Other times, you might want to open multipe windows. If this is so, following the above steps will do absolutely nothing. However, you can open an new window by clicking on the word "File" at the top of the screen and then clicking on "New Window" in the menu that appears.
