1) Know what products are available from the weather interface (NOT just raw data products).
2) Know how to get observations from the weather interface in fully decoded, tabular, and raw format.
3) Know why fully decoded observations are not the best way of reading the data.
4) Be able to read the following data from the main section of a METAR:
a) Station
b) Time
c) Wind direction
d) Wind speed
e) Visibility
f) Present weather
g) Cloud cover
5) Be able to read the following data from the REMARKS section of a METAR:
a) Temperature
b) Dewpoint
c) Pressure
d) 1-hour precipitation
e) 3-hour precipitation
f) 6-hour precipitation
g) 6-hour maximum and minimum temperature
6) Know the following present weather symbols:

And the +/- intensity modifiers
7) Know what the most important part of an observation is and why.
8) Know how to convert from UTC to local time.
